Market Selection & Saturation Myths
Why 99% of creators pick the wrong niche, and how to identify "Under-Served" goldmines that the AI-automation crowd is missing.
The "Saturation" Trap
When most people start a faceless channel, they go to the most crowded rooms: "Inspirational Quotes" or "Generic Facts". They see big channels doing it and think, "I'll just do that."
The Reality: These niches are dying. Why? Because the audience has built up an immunity to them. To win today, you need to go where the psychological demand is high but the perceived supply is robotic and low-quality.
The "Expert" Identification Framework
In our experience running dozens of channels, we look for 3 specific triggers before spending a single dollar on production:
- High Emotional Stake: Does the topic solve a problem people are desperate to fix? (Health, Money, Relationships).
- Low Information Accessibility: Is the information hard to find in a simple, digestible format?
- The "Uncanny Valley" Delta: Can you provide a better experience (better graphics, better voice) than the existing low-effort automated channels?
🚨 Expert Insider Tip
Stop looking for "Niches". Look for "Problem Clusters". A niche is "Finance". A problem cluster is "How to survive inflation on a teacher's salary". The latter builds a cult-like following that stays for every second of the video.
Field Note: The "Subtle" Saturation Test
Go to your target niche. Look at the comments. Are people asking questions that the creator isn't answering? That's your opening. If the audience is engaged but underserved, the algorithm will starve for your content.
